He leads the Elysium Tennis staff to ensure high-quality racquet services and exceptional customer service. Here is our catalog of strings and services to fit your needs.


Strings – Costs $22 for Members and $24 for non-members
Strings may be replaced most obviously when broken, another good pointer is how often you play.

• Play 1-2 times a week, replace every 6 months
• Play 3-5 times a week, replace every 3 months

*This is also subject to the level of play*

Base Grip/Overgrip
Overgrips: Should be replaced either when ripped or, more likely, when they are extremely dirty and no longer maintain their original color
Base Grip: Should be replaced when very dirty or slipping out of position
Grip Change – $6 for members and $8 for non-members
Overgrip – $1 for non-members


Bumper Guard – $12 for members and $16 for non-members – (Must order material, can ask for assistance)

  • Should be replaced either when starting to break or when already broken
  • Can also be replaced when plastic “grommets” that hold strings break or are too large
Racquet Customization (weight and balance) – $25
String Type Catalog
Polyester – Stiffer strings that help provide more spin and power. Recommended for frequent players who also tend to break strings.
 
Luxilon Alu Power
Description: Ideal for advanced players looking for the perfect combination of explosive power and control.

Multifilament – A softer string to provide more touch and feel. Recommended for players looking to have more control of the ball and tend not to break strings as often. More comfortable than Polyester.

Synthetic Gut – A softer string that tends to be more neutral and consistent. Recommended mostly for true beginners and those who are looking for an entry-level string.
