Daytime Gold League – 55 & Up

December 1, 2010Leave a reply

Elysium is proud to announce the creation of a daytime Gold League for all interested players over 50 years of age. This is a special league for those that want to play a little in mid afternoon and can’t make it in the evenings.

As of right now we will be holding the league on Tuesday afternoons from 1 to 3 PM. Men and women will play separately on their own sides, unless there are some big hitting women that want to whop up on the old guys. If there is enough interest, we will add more days of the week for play.

Cost is $10 per month for this “Golden Buckeye” membership, and $10 for each of the 2 hour sessions. You may join for one month or six, there are no long term requirements for the “Snowbird” subset.

Contact the front desk for details and to sign up!!!

Fall is here!! Everyone needs to start planning their fall and winter tennis activities. Please get your USTA teams organized and contact the front desk to confirm your practice and coaches.

Ladies teams – As things stand right now, we will have at least one team at the 2.5, 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0 levels for the USTA leagues. Ladies teams typically have at least one practice, many have two, and one match per week.

Mens teams – Per our early planning, Elysium will have at least one team competing at the 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5 levels in the USTA leagues. Mens teams vary greatly in their level of team strucure. Some teams practice during the week, others do not.
