Ladies USTA Team Doubles Round Robin Tournament

Looking for a great way to hone your skills before the fall season begins?
Please join other players at your level in playing a fun round robin tournament on Friday, September 9, 2011.

We will be accepting 8 doubles teams at each level (a total of 16 players).

10 A.M. – 12 P.M. 3.5
10 A.M. – 12 P.M. 4.0
12 P.M. – 2 P.M. 3.0

Cost:$20/person

USTA 2.5 Team Wins at Districts!

Congratulations to the 2.5 Kane team for their thrilling win at Districts August 5th & 6th. The team will be heading to play in the Ohio Championships this weekend.

Good Luck to Mindy Kane, Dawn McKinney, Katherine Magalang, Patricia Mazurek, Stephanie Miller and Jingyun Zhang. We are so proud of you!

Sanford Sisters Capture Midwest Open Titles

Congrats to Elysiums’ Anna Sanford who won the Girls 18′s Midwest Open singles title. Anna was unseeded in the tournament, which was held in Columbus Indiana, and she won the tournament without dropping a set.

Alle Sanford also took home a title, winning the Girls’ 14′s Doubles championship to go with her Midwest Closed Doubles win in June.

Twenty-five other Elysium players competed in the tourney in all age groups and had great success, many reaching the quarterfinals and beyond in singles and in doubles.
