Stein Wins 2nd Gold Ball

Congrats to Elysium’s Emma Stein who won her 2nd Gold Ball of 2011 by winning the Girls 14’s National Clay Court Doubles Championship in Florida last week. Emma teamed up, once again, with partner Lauren Goodman to capture the title by a convincing 6-4, 6-1 score in the finals.

Elysium Juniors Have Midwest Closed Success

This year Elysium sent 26 players to participate in The Midwest Closed Championships. Both the 12’s and 14’s (Kalamazoo) and the 16’s and 18’s (Indianapolis) had great results. Elysium juniors amassed a total of 68 Singles wins and 44 Doubles wins in the tourney.
